アーキテクト間の分業に関する基本的考察米国建築プロジェクトにおけるMatrix of Responsibilitiesを研究対象として

近年、建築物の設計に必要な技術的知識の多様化•高度化は著し く、複数の設計者による分業は不可欠である。なかでも複数の建築 設計者ぼによる協調型設計は、国内の設計施工-括方式のみな らず、国内外の複数の建築設計者が参加する建築プロジェクトにお いても存在する。各建築設計者による業務分担を明示し、合意形成 を行い、建築プロジェクトを的確にマネジメントすることは、正確 かつ創意工夫に富んだ設計情報を作成する上で重要な課題である。%This paper investigates the task distribution among '"Design Architect (DA)" and "Architect of Record (AR)" by examining 'Matrix of Responsibilities". It is typically utilized in US projects, which clarifies tasks and responsibilities among architects in a descriptive manner. First, we found out that the prime responsibilities of DA were transferred to the AR mainly in the CD phase. Second, the roles and responsibilities of DA and AR were investigated in each Project Phases. In the Design Phase, AR is responsible for consultants' coordination and approval from the public agencies, especially in the CD phase. DA is mainly responsible for the production of drawings until the DD phase. The prime responsibility of the production of specification is handed over to the AR earlier phase than the drawings. Preparation of presentation documents is in charge mainly by DA in the SD and the DD phase. Documentation for authority approval is prepared solely by AR. In Bidding and Negotiation phase, neither of architects takes prime responsibility in the management of Bidding and Negotiation. AR takes full responsibility in the production of documents for Bidding and Negotiation. In Construction Contract Administration phase, AR covers most of the responsibilities. DA sometimes controls "Material and Color" and other specific design elements. Third, both DA and AR are assigned equal responsibilities of Design Management related issues in the Design Phase.
