Study on Thermal Adjustment Behavior of Housewives in Rural Areas of Nepal in winter

The survey results are as follows:rn1. Housewives spend most of their time indoor i.e. 70% forrnvarious activities such as cooking, dining, living andrnsleeping purpose.rn2. Among indoor activities housewives have spent much ofrntheir time in kitchen. It shows that they are not engaged inrnofficial activities and bound to live for household works.rn3. They are using firewood and sunshine for thermalrnadjustment instead of air conditioners and heater.rn4. They sleep about 9 hours a day which shows that they havernsufficient time for rest than other developed countries.
