DELIVERING ISS FOR AUSTRALIA'S AIR WARFARE DESTROYER

A landmark prime contract was placedrnon Ultra Electronics Sonar Systems by Raytheon Australia in November 2008 for the manufacture, integration and test of an Integrated Sonar System (ISS) variant to equi| Australia's three new Hobart class destroyers being procured under Project SEA 4000. The ISS is a software-intensive, multi-sensor sonar suite combining technology and subsystems from Ultra businesses in Australia, Canada, the US and the UK.
