Minuteman III ICBM flies with dummy warhead

A Us Air Force Minuteman III intercontinen tal ballistic missile (ICBM) equipped with a simulated re-entry vehicle was launched from Launch Facility 10 at Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB) during an operational test conducted on 14 November. The launch team, under the direction of the 576th Flight Test Squadron, included crew members from the 341st Missile Wing, Malmstrom AFB, Montana, and crew members from the 625th Strategic Operations Squadron, Offutt AFB, Nebraska, onboard an E-6B Airborne Command Post aircraft.
