Small and versatile: Man-portable UUVs ready for expanded mission sets

There is growing interest in highly autonomous micro- and small-class unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) that displace 25-100 lb (11.3-45.3 kg); are of a size and weight to enable one- to two-person lift, launch, and recovery from shore or a small watercraft; and are optimised to operate in shallow littoral and inshore waters.
