Experimentation with Palletized Munitions systems, potentially culminating in a programme of flight testing, is being exploited by the US Air Force (USAF). In a Capability Request for Information (CRFI) issued in late March, the Air Force Strategic Development Planning & Experimentation (SDPE) Office has asked industry to provide details of candidate systems, enabling technologies, and operational concepts. The SDPE Office supports air force development planning efforts by examining the operational utility of emerging technologies and potential operational concepts through experimentation and demonstration.
