Raytheon to demo anti-jam SATCOM tool

The US Air Force (USAF) has tasked Raytheon with demonstrating a new communications technology that will continuously link tactical users with higher levels of command when operating in contested environments. The objective of the USD37 million Protected Tactical Services Field Demonstration (PTSFD) contract is to improve anti-jam security via the Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS) constellation, as well as commercial satellites.
