UK Royal Marines test new ATVs during mortar exercise

The UK Royal Marines have tested new CanAm 6×6 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) during a mortar exercise on Salisbury Plain, the Royal Navy reported on its website on 3 December. The vehicles were used to move mortars and their crews to 'shoot and scoot' before being detected by mortar-locating radars. They were monitored by 53 Battery Royal Artillery.
