Israel reveals self-propelled ATMOS 2000

Soltam Systems of Israel has released details of the latest version of its ATMOS 155mm/52-cal self-propelled artillery system, the existence of which was first revealed late last year (Jane's Defence Weekly 20 September).rnSoltam has developed ATMOS 2000 as a private venture aimed mainly at the export market, although it has already been demonstrated to the Israel Defence Force. There are nine subcontractors to Soltam on the programme, including SAGEM of France.
