Nato Focuses On Coalition C2

As NATO prepares for the surge of extra troops to Afghanistan in the coining months, several key projects are being accelerated to help provide an overarching command-and-control (C2) infrastructure across the coalition. Lieutenant General James Soli-gan, Deputy Chief of Staff for Transformation at Allied Command Transformation (ACT), said the alliance was due to release a "Top 50" list of requirements outlining the information exchange gateways, core services and overarching architectures needed to achieve the required level of interoperability.
