BAE expects slower sales growth in 2012

BAE Systems has reiterated its warnings of poor growth in 2012 as it contends with persistent uncertainty in UK defence spending and possible revisions to the US budget. Results for the year will rely heavily on the conclusion of Saudi Arabia's order for 72 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft under the Project Salam deal, which is expected to be worth about GBP4.5 billion (USD7.3 billion) and is subject to a final agreement over price escalation.
