Dutch to train fast-jet pilots on M-346 in Italy

The Netherlands is to send several of its student pilots to train with the Italian Air Force (AMI) on the Alenia Aermacchi M-346 (T-346) Master jet. The move, which was announced on 11 May, will see two Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) pilots and an instructor being stationed at the AMI'S Flight School at Lecca-Galatina Airbase. According to Alenia, this detachment will be the first of what is planned to be "a fruitful co-operation" over the coming years.
