JLTVs too slow in ship-to-shore tests

Pentagon testers have found that Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) prototypes are slow to deploy from ship to shore, so would leave US Marine Corps (USMC) units "vulnerable to threats". The Director of Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E) annual report, released on 20 January, said in developmental test/operational test (DT/OT) events USMC units with JLTVs were hampered by the new trucks' lack of deployability.
