Luftwaffe Eurofighters gain air-to-ground capability

Eurofighters of the Luftwaffe's Taktische Luftwaffenge-schwader (Tactical Air Force Squadron, TaktLwG) 31 'Boelcke' in Norvenich have gained the capability to deliver laser-and GPS-guided GBU-48 bombs, the Luftwaffe announced on 18 December. This is in addition to the type's existing air-to-air capability, meeting the requirement for the Euroflghter to be a multirole platform.
