Modification of the Additivity Hypothesis with Experiment

Researchers expected that CCT diagram fan be calculated from TTT diagram of steel by utilising the additivity hypothesis originally proposed by Scheil and Steinberg. Unfortunately, in the last few decades, several authors have pointed out that there are serious discrepancies between the experimental and the calculated results in non-isothermal reactions for some steels.
