At the end of a "strong financial year" Air Charter Service (ACS) more than tripled its office space in Geneva. ACS Switzerland CEO Alvaro Recas Pardo proudly pointed out that "we opened the office with just two desks in 2015; now we have enough space for 23 people and are predicting further growth." The operating statistics have come a long way since year one. The office booked 27 flights in 2015, generating a turnover of CHF 540,000. In 2020 ACS Geneva defied the pandemic and posted a record year, booking more than 500 flights and registering more than CHF 36 million (GBP 30 million) in turnover. In other news Intradco Global, a livestock, equine and exotic animals charter specialist that is part of the Chapman Freeborn group, is expanding its presence and moving into new offices in Toronto and Dubai. The firm promoted Tom Lamb, who worked in its London office for seven years, to head of its Toronto branch, where he will be the regional manager for live animal and cargo charter in North America. The Dubai centre will be headed by Joe Street, who has joined Intradco as an account manager, having held positions in the UAE with ACS, Eti-had Airways Cargo and Equitrans.
