Electra Infrastructures to build new Israeli line

I SRAEL Railways (IR) announced on September 10 that it has selected the Israeli Electra Infrastructures consortium to build the first stage of a new line connecting Rishon Le-Zion with the Tel Aviv - Jerusalem A1 Link. The 30km electrified line will run from Rishon Le-Zion Moshe Dayan station to Jerusalem Navon on the A1 Link via Rishon Le-Zion Harishonim, Anava and Modi'in. Two new stations will be built at Ramla South and Rishon Le-Zion Rhombus.
