Visualisation of scientific/educational topics by the scientists or educators themselves: a new work perspective?

A project group typically produces educational multimedia 'textbooks' enriched with animations, simulations and virtual reality. An example of such a work is shown here, stressing the importance of tight cooperation between scientific author(s) and computer expert(s).
