A Procedure for Construction and Selection of VOQL Double Sampling Attribute Plans

In this paper a technique is developed for designing double sampling plans with a designated maximum variance, a VOQL plans by treating the outgoing quality and total inspection as well-defined random variables under total rectification. The VOQL concept is analogous to the AOQL concept it is the variance which is maximized instead of the usual expected value of OQ. A simulation study is carried out to illustrate the practicability of the determination of the plan.
