Norwegian offshore pipeline operator Gassco broke its daily gas delivery record over the weekend, the company said January 25. It pumped 355.8 million cubic meters of Norwegian gas through its system during the 24 hours from 06:00 local time on January 23.rnGassco's system is used by gas producers in Norwegian waters to deliver their gas to customers in the UK and continental Europe. Demand for gas has been high this month because of the unusually cold weather. In early January the UK saw record demand at over 450 million cu m/day.
