Iraq excludes Exxon from round

Iraq's oil ministry has excluded ExxonMobil from the upcoming auction of 12 exploration blocks. It published April 19 its "final list" of 47 prequalified companies, and ExxonMobil was not on it. The US major angered the Baghdad government when it signed six exploration contracts with the semi-autonomous northern Kurdistan region in October last year.
