Offshore fleet operator fred olsen energy has received approval from its bank syndicate to amend its US$2bn loan, temporarily waiving three financial covenants on the financing. Minimum value, leverage ratio and interest cover ratio covenants will be waived until June 30 2018. The waiver of the leverage ratio and interest cover is conditional on similar covenant waivers being agreed with bondholders.
