Learning from strippers

It's no great secret that I love cars. Apart from my everyday vehicle (an old Volvo V70 XC nicknamed "The Bucket"), I have three others, which between them have 14.8 litres of engine capacity, around 1,000 horse power but only six seats and two roofs -not to mention a fuel consumption that not even Mitsubishi Motors could make look pretty. Having been hounded for a number of years by regulators and politicians, we bankers have felt a considerable amount of schadenfreude watching the automotive industry and its senior executives coming unstuck. Isn't it time, we thought, that the spotlight was turned on somebody else?
