Green bonds gather momentum

Green bonds were the name of the game last week, with SSA prints in euros and US dollars underlining the rising focus on Sustainable and Responsible Investment. KommuneKredit and FMO found a strong response for their respective Green bonds, gathering more than €2.2bn of bids last Tuesday. Danish agency KOMMUNEKREDIT made its entry into the Green market with an inaugural €500m 10-year. The spread was set at mid-swaps less 2bp from flat area, after the book grew to over €1bn, excluding lead manager interest.
