It was a quiet start to a month that typically sees plenty of new asset-backed supply for investors to buy. One of the more esoteric interesting trades was COINSTAR'S US$900m inaugural whole business ABS (144A/Reg S) called coin 2017-1. Its two tranches were rated Triple B. The 5.8-year A2 tranche priced at the tight end of guidance to yield 5.25%. Its A1 variable funding notes were not offered. The bonds are backed by self-service kiosks that turn loose change into vouchers. Guggenheim Securities was sole structuring adviser and bookrunner.
