A bruising few months for European IPOs are being quickly forgotten thanks to a flurry of deals pricing around mid-range or higher and the extraordinary response to the float of payments firm adyen . On Tuesday morning, the Dutch company launched bookbuilding on its €849m IPO on Euronext Amsterdam. Less than an hour later there was enough demand to price the deal at the top of €220-€240 guidance, valuing Adyen at up to €7.3bn and 48 times earnings.
