TUYA SMART, a Chinese technology infrastructure provider for Internet of Things applications, is preparing to list in the US to raise about US$1bn in the first half of the year, said people with knowledge of the matter. The company is working with Bank of America and Morgan Stanley on the transaction. Founded in 2014, Tuya applies artificial intelligence and IoT technologies on behalf of third-party customers to areas such as cloud services, product and app development, data analytics and value-added services.
