DNB BOLICKREDITT breathed life into the covered bond market on Thursday with a €1.5bn October 2027 that offered no new issue concession, the market having witnessed a week's issuance hiatus. "It is DNB's first euro [covered bond] since January 2019. It was about time they showed up again, given the size of their operations and the fact that they are a flagship bank in the Norwegian market," a banker away from the trade said.
