Ecuador taps 2029s in refinancing

Ecuador returned to the international bond markets last Monday with a US$1.125bn tap of its 2029s in an effort to attend to looming debt maturities. The deal priced at 110.746 or a yield of 9.05%, the tight end of guidance of 9.10% (+/-5bp) and in line with initial price thoughts of low to mid 9%.
