HSBC appoints Wang as China chief

HSBC has promoted Mark Wang, head of its global banking and markets business in China, to be chief executive for China, in the latest in a series of senior leadership changes at the bank. Wang will take over as China CEO from David Liao, who will move to another senior position in the group, the bank said.
