Fitch launches European high-yield index

Fitch launched its European high-yield index report last week, which expands its research offerings in the leveraged finance sector. The report, which will be released quarterly, tracks the performance of rated high-yield bonds in European currencies from corporates as well as financial institutions, currently including 781 deals from 381 issuers dating back to January 2000. It offers detailed sector and country analysis of issuance, ratings and yields.
