While Argentina bonds have outperformed Latin American peers this year, the market continues to price in considerable risks as the country heads into presidential elections. Average spreads on the country's bonds have tightened 180bp since the beginning of the year to January 18, outpacing the region's other sovereigns in what has been a good start for the asset class, according to ICE BAML data.
