摘要

On the first day of a two-day forum of environment ministers at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the head of the U.N. Climate Change Secretariat criticized the world's wealthiest countries for not doing enough to encourage developing and emerging nations to commit to international efforts to fight climate change. Speaking to reporters, Yvo de Boer, head of the Bonn, Germany-based secretariat, said, "We need to see real leadership on the part of industrialized countries. And I feel that we're not seeing enough of that leadership, at least at the moment." The OECD is made up of 30 of the world's wealthiest countries.
