The Polish government has approved a draft bill on genetically modified organisms after receiving preliminary approval from the European Commission to form biotech-free zones, a government official said Oct. 14.rn"The draft got preliminary notification [of acceptance] by the European Commission and it is one of the most important things" for adoption of the draft, Environment Ministry spokeswoman Magda Sikorska told BNA.
