The process for commissioning goods such as deep-freeze goods involves removing the goods from the full pallets and supplying them to a commissioning area. After breaking open the full pallets, the broken pallets arising through the order are supplied to an intermediate storage zone. The removed goods are supplied to an intermediate buffer and the mixed pallets arising through the order are supplied to a waiting zone wherein all three zones have the same atmospheric ic conditions as the full pallet store e.g. -28 deg.C. whilst the commission zone has atmospheric conditions which are different therefrom e.g. + to - 5 deg.C.
