Alberta Awards $6M for Carbon Storage, Energy Efficiency, Emission Reduction

Thirteen new clean technology projects in Alberta led by small and medium-sized businesses will split more than C$6 million ($6.02 million) in funding, the province's Climate Change and Emissions Management Corp. (CCEMC) announced Oct. 31.The projects will advance carbon capture and storage efforts, enhance energy efficiency, and reduce emissions from fossil fuels. Together, they are valued at more than C$34 million, the corporation said.
