Mexico Requests World Trade Organization Compliance Panel in U.S. Tuna Dispute

Mexico has requested consultations with the U.S. to address Washington's alleged noncompliance with the terms of a 2015 World Trade Organization dispute ruling regarding dolphin-safe tuna-labeling requirements. Mexico's request for consultations could lead to the formation of a second compliance panel in the tuna dispute after the World Trade Organization (WTO) granted a separate U.S. investigation request earlier this month.
