Ontario Bonds Raise $616 Million For Green Infrastructure Projects

Ontario's third sale of "green" bonds raised C$800 million ($616 million) to support clean transportation and environmentally friendly infrastructure projects, the government announced Feb. 3. Proceeds will help fund 12 projects, including rapid transit expansions and infrastructure upgrades, to meet tighter efficiency standards, Environment and Climate Change Minister Glen Murray said in a statement.
