Ontario's second round of green bonds has raised C$750 million ($533 million) to help fund eight low-carbon transit and public health infrastructure projects, the province's Ministry of Finance said Feb. 2. The green bonds, which mature in January 2023, are part of the government's effort to meet its commitment to invest more than C$134 billion ($95.1 billion) in infrastructure projects during the next 10 years, while at the same time supporting the province's efforts to implement its Climate Change Strategy, the ministry said in a statement.
