Serbia is looking to foreign developers and promotional banks to help build its biggest onshore wind park in order to cut dependence on coal power. Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company will take a 60 percent stake in the 158-megawatt Cibuk park that will be located built in the Vojvodina province in northeast Serbia, according to a Jan. 17 email from co-owner KfW Group. Via its DEG development lender, KfW will own 10 percent of the project Finnish developer Taaleri Oyj the remaining 30 percent.
