摘要

The fatigue life of metallic specimens subject to repeated stress cycling is determined using the equivalent-stress method. Reversed stress cycling is considered as equivalent. The fatigue life of specimens made of carbon steels, creep-resistant steels and alloys is calculated and experimentally validated in conditions of repeated tensile/compressive, bending, and torsional stress cycles.
