HAL, Kemrock JV

Indian aeronautical major Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Vadodara based Kemrock Industries and Exports Ltd (KIEL) which specialises in the production of reinforced polymer composites to develop, produce and market aerospace grade carbon fibre pre-pegs. According to Kalpesh Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of KIEL, "Kemrock and HAL have together identified opportunities for developmem and marketing of aerospace grade carbon fibre pre-pegs, which has immense potential in aerospace and defence programmes in India as well as globally".
