摘要

Aboriginal people, historically, have travelled on the land and utilized the resources from the land for countless generations. They viewed their options for accessing the resources mostly in terms of energy use. How much energy was needed to hunt moose or net fish or collect firewood or for myriad other activities that provided for their families and community? Unlike today, there was no need to be concerned about hidden or invisible hazards or threats to their well-being.
