BATTELLE'S MCCONNELL TAPPED AS COO OF DOE FOSSIL ENERGY OFFICE

Battelle's top carbon capture and sequestration official has been tapped as one of the Department of Energy's top advisors within the Office of Fossil Energy. Battelle announced earlier this week that Chuck McConnell will serve as the chief operating officer within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy at DOE. The third highest-ranking position in the OFE, McConnell will manage the day-to-day operations of various programs within the office.
