DOD Forwards Congress First Batch Of FY-11 Legislative Proposals

The Obama administration has advanced its first batch of fiscal year 2011 Defense Department legislative proposals, including new statutory provisions to better insulate the Pentagon from fluctuations in fuel prices, extend DOD's limited authority to provide logistics support for weapon systems and make it easier for the Navy to give away larger, excess ships.
