The developers of Golden Pass LNG on Friday reaffirmed the 2024timeline for first exports from the terminal in Texas, despite a recentrequest to federal regulators for an extension of the project’scompletion deadline.Golden Pass LNG spokesman Renwick DeVille said in an interviewthat the project has not been pushed back from the timeline thatmajority owner Qatar Petroleum and partner ExxonMobil providedwhen they took a final investment decision on the project in February.That guidance said the $10 billion project was expected to startexporting cargoes in 2024.
