GEA wins the first big dairy contracts in China since the melamine scandal

GEA Process Engineering has received an order for over EUR 17 million from Feihe Dairy, one of the fastest growing, medium-size producers of dairy products in China. GEA Process Engineering will supply process know-how, technology, equipment and install plants for the production of whole milk powder and infant formula powder, as well as training local Feihe production staff. Feihe Dairy formerly used CEA Process Engineering as its supplier for its first infant formula project in China three years ago. The company considers CEA Process Engineering to be a strategic partner and expects the partnership to continue well beyond the two new projects.
