What's Snu?

OK, I admit it. I'm a meny prank-ster. I love bad puns and jokes that make you moan. I have no shame in stealing anything funny and adding it to my repertoire. About 15 years ago, I heard a routine that begins, "I wish I had some snu." Usually, someone obliges and asks, "Snu? What's snu?" And, of course, the prankster gleefully replies, "Oh, not much, what's new with you?" (Yes, it's dumb, but you'll laugh yourself silly every time someone falls for it.) This month's column, highlighting articles from the May issues of Computers in Libraries and Searcher and a May/June article from ONLINE, addresses the "What's new?" question and also asks, "What's news?"
