Paratext announced the appointment of Alexandra B. Vance as its new president.rnMost recently, Vance was executive director of the Reference Information Group at CQ Press, a division of SAGE, where she was responsible for the academic and business reference publishing and CQ Researcher divisions. Vance has 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and global business development, especially digital product and business models. She will remain on the board of directors of the Society for Scholarly Publishing and on the editorial board of the journal Learned Publishing.
