One day, she frantically called her brother (that's me, the librarian) because she needed some statistics from the U.S. Department of Labor and had no idea how to find them. It took me about 10 minutes on the department's website to find out what she needed and email her the link.rnI often use that story in my legal research classes as an example of the wealth of information that can be obtained from U.S. government websites, particularly the ones from federal agencies, boards, and commissions.
